Greetings Shaull Families,
Today is the final day to register your student for the Science Fair! Our 2026 Shaull Science Fair is quickly approaching on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Participation in the Science Fair is voluntary. Projects are due between 2/18 and 2/20 by 9:15 AM. To make this event go smoothly, we also need judging volunteers. Please see the documents and forms below for details:

Science Fair Student Sign Up Form Science Fair Volunteer/Judging Sign Up Form We are still in need of a few judging volunteers! Today is our CV Mini Mini-THON at Shaull! Our CVHS Mini THON committee members will be at Shaull all day to meet with each grade level for enriching activities related to THON and the Four Diamonds Foundation! Our school goal is to raise $7500 this year for Four Diamonds!
The top three fundraising students will attend a CVHS THON Pep Rally with Mr. T. in March! Additionally, Mr. T. promised to shave his head completely, live on Shark TV Morning Announcements, if we reach our fundraising goal this year!

As Valentine’s Day approaches, we are looking forward to classroom celebrations that are fun, inclusive, and safe for all students on February 13. To help us support a variety of allergies and dietary needs, we ask that Valentines include non edible items only (stickers, notes, small trinkets, etc.). If candy or treats are sent in, students will be asked to take them home rather than eat them at school or on the bus. Unlike the Fall and Winter Socials, our Valentine's socials are teacher-run. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming celebration for every child.
Have a wonderful weekend! Mr. T. |
Order a Yearbook by Feb 20 to guarantee a copy |
February 20 is the last date for families to guarantee a yearbook for their student. We submit our final order to Jostens immediately following that date, and very few extras will be ordered and sold on a first come, first served basis. |
Shaull Multicultural Night! |
Join us for our first big Multicultural Night at Shaull! This is also the evening of our Art Show (Gallery Walk on lower level) and Scholastic Book Fair (in the library). |
Light Up the Valley to support Mini-THON! |
This year, the CVHS Mini-THON Committee is holding a fundraiser called Light Up the Valley. Families can order luminaries that they can display on their front doors on the night of Mini-THON. Below is the link to order:

Fly Like an Eagle!
Cumberland Valley School District's Portrait of an Eagle is our vision for all students upon graduation. Through the immersive Kindergarten through twelfth grade experience here at CVSD, our students will be able to demonstrate these seven competencies for success in adult life. We will reward students each month with the CVSD Portrait of an Eagle Award Certificate. Be on the look out should your student come home with an award!
Additionally, students will be awarded the "High Fly"er" tickets on an ongoing basis to be entered in for regular prize drawings. Students may earn lunch with the principal, a game in the lobby "Sharkade," or prizes from the Principal Prize Bin. |
